Is buying a Kindle worth it? Pros + cons

In my opinion, buying a Kindle was one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I have always been such a bookworm but I was spending SO much money on books (and honestly running out of places to put all of them).

Pros

-Will save you so much moneyyy- I have found so many free pdfs and free versions of books, it’s amazing.

-You can take it anywhere!- tbh I barely ever go anywhere without it because I can fit it in my purse or even my pocket

-Will connect to your library card- you can attach your Kindle to your Libby account. The only downside of this is that a lot of the books are always on hold

-Can hold 100s of books!- this literally baffled me when I got my Kindle. I couldn’t believe how many books it could hold, especially since I only got the 4g. Imo, unless you’re using it for audiobooks/textbooks, I don’t think you’ll need anything above 4g probably.

Cons

-Takes getting used to- it’s definitely a culture shock when switching to a Kindle. I personally love reading paper books, so every once in a while I’ll still rent a physical book from the library just to be able to hold it (and that paper smell 😫)

-Needs to be charged- this isn’t a huge deal since it keeps a charge so long…but, it is still a factor when deciding

The pros DEFINITELY outweigh the cons for me!! But let me know what you guys think, I’m curious to know everyone’s experience ♡
