Where To Get The Best Pastel de Nata 🥧🥧🥧

There’s a great debate about the best spot for pastel de nata in Portugal 🤔

These delicious, flaky tarts filled with a creamy, custard filling have won the hearts of people all over the world.

Best way to enjoy these pastries? Warmed and fresh, with a sprinkling of cinnamon!

Here are three spots we tried during our trip to Lisbon Portugal! 🥧

Castro: Loved the super light and flakey crust with a nice, salty kick to balance out the sweet custard filling. The pasteleria is also super minimalistic and aesthetic, with a nice seating area.

Manteigaria: A personal favorite that always leaves me coming back for more! The custard and crust balance each other well, with a nice, buttery crust and rich filling.

Pasteis de Belem: This is the OG spot for Portuguese egg tarts, and there’s always a long line out the door for this spot. They have a large cafe, serving other pastries and sandwiches as well. The crust is definitely crunchier than the other two spots
