Summer in Paris 🤍

Reminiscing on last summer where I spent a good chunk of time in Paris eating, drinking and people watching from dusk till dawn.

I had amazing pizza, watched the sunrise at the Eiffel Tower and went to a Latin themed party with strangers. I walked and walked and walked until my feet felt numb.

People say Paris is overrated and if you’re expecting a theme park that is perfectly polished with a million attractions- then yes Paris is boring. The Eiffel Tower looks smaller in person, the streets are dirty and some of the people are cold but if you have an open mind you will see why so many people fall in love with this city. Whether I was wandering the streets of Montmarte, eating steak frites at La relais de l’entrecôte or enjoying a book at a cafe I always found myself surrounded by a beautiful calm even in such a bustling city. Amazing architecture surrounds every corner, the arts scene is rich and you can eat/drink well every night for not that much.

Have an open mind, talk to the locals and appreciate the little things- I promise travel will become so much more enjoyable.
