File these tips for the next time you’re hosting or going to a potluck:

• variety is key

think about how everything on the board complements one another. I like to include something chocolate-y, something with fruit, and at least one treat that is plain / vanilla.

• consider any dietary restrictions

most of the time, I’ll include at least one or two treats that are gluten-free. adding fruit is also a really nice way to appeal to all diets!

• make it visual

this is where you really get to have fun with it! I like to make it colorful by using fresh fruit and edible flowers. cutting the treats and fruit into different sizes and shapes also adds a lot of visual interest.
