Whoopsies 🥴😂

Two years ago my husband and I took a trip to a friends house in Maine. We ended up flying into Boston and renting a car to drive to our destination.

While we were driving through New Hampshire, we kept seeing signs for “Hampton Beach” just ahead. I was SO EXCITED to have the opportunity to drive through the fancy Hampton homes and see how the celebs vacation. I was driving so my husband had no choice but to ride along and explore with me on this 45 minute detour. 😅

We followed the signs and finally ended up at Hampton Beach.

Looking around I was confused… where are all the big homes?

I googled it and the HAMPTONS with the big fancy houses are on Long Island, NOT in New Hampshire 🤦🏼‍♀️

After laughing it off and not even getting out of the car LOL I swung a U-turn and we were back on track to continue our way to Maine.

To add a weirder part of the story, I posted this on my Ig stories laughing about it and to our surprise, I had a friend vacationing there the same time we drove through! Talk about a small world 🌎

Have you ever gone somewhere and it was the complete opposite you had in mind or it this a just me thing LOL
