✅Pros:

⁃ Extremely affordable

⁃ Large variety and selection

⁃ Mens, women’s and children’s clothing

⁃ Hidden gems aren’t up priced

⁃ Lots of accessories like belts, jewelry, handbags

❌Cons:

⁃ Not well curated, need to dig

⁃ Racks are cluttered and there is little room to move around

I almost walked right past East Village Thrift, it’s tucked away just around the corner from some of the big name thrift shops. When you walk in you might feel a bit overwhelmed by the racks and racks of clothing tightly packed into the small space, but it’s great for the seasoned thrifter who wants to dig and find a hidden treasure.

If you don’t want to dig and spend some time sorting through slightly damaged or worn out tees, this is not the place for you. It’s not curated much at all, but it’s by far the most affordable thrift store I have been to in the city, and the dig pays off! Most items are just $5-15. It’s the place to not go in with much of a vision and come out with some interesting pieces.
