I got a second chance at life! 🌞

Hi!

My little trauma dump is when I was 18 years old, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It’s an autoimmune disease where my body is unable to produce insulin anymore. When I was 21, I was then diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis, which then turned into Crohn’s disease. (Both of these autoimmune diseases are incurable). This resulted in a permanent ileostomy bag! Double whammy.. maybe triple. 🥲 Due to all of the surgeries I had, I may need to do IVF or fertility treatments for me to get pregnant. It’s unfortunate, hard, exhausting - all of the above.

It’s been a long road of grief, denial, acceptance, depression - it plays in circles! My life will always be this way and I had to accept that. Some people say “I could never live that way” but I don’t have many choices do I? I have to accept my fate. That’s the only way I’m going to ever be happy.

Some days are challenging, but I choose to enjoy the days while I can. I got another shot at life. I’m going to enjoy it while I can. ♥️
