Vulnerability story time 📖

🤍 My Story: I was a surrogate for intended parents in China, I was so excited to help them fulfill their dreams to become parents. They wanted children so badly. At 18 weeks pregnant I became very sick with HELLP syndrome (basically the worst form of Preeclampsia) and I was forced to deliver the baby to save my life. My body was shutting down very quickly.

🤍 How I Felt: I was sad for months… years even. Especially now that I have this urge to want another baby. My heart breaks because I’m terrified I could have HELLP syndrome again. What I’ve learned throughout my 32 years of life is to feel my feelings fully and allow them to pass. So that is what I’m practicing this time, I hope this helps someone in someway ✨
