My boyfriends land lord won’t fix it..

I recently moved in with my boyfriend, I told his landlord I will pay to have this part of the roof fixed and it’ll be deducted from my rent, landlord refused saying he will fix it himself.

We live in north Florida, we are getting rain for the next week. We literally have a bucket catching all the water. Also I think that’s black mold? Wack.
