Things I’ll Do Differently with Baby #2!

Things I’ll do differently with baby # 2! There were a lot of things that I’m happy we did with our first daughter, however there are a few things I’d like to do differently with our second baby… when that time comes of course!

• Prepare more freezer meals, when my husband went back to work, I wish I had more options for lunch

• Pelvic floor therapy, I did a decent job getting everything back together again, but I’d like to leave it to the professionals next time!

• Don’t worry about milestones, I remember comparing my friend’s baby to my daughter because she could say a word and my daughter couldn’t. My daughter walked way before her though so I have to remind myself every baby is different!

• Baby wear while doing chores, I baby wore a lot with my first but not so much while doing chores. With the second I plan to do this so I can get more done.

• Trust my mom gut more. I worried about a lot of little things… I was a first time mom! I had to learn to trust my mom gut because I’ll know when something is wrong.

• Journaling more while they’re little, I hate to admit it, but there are details I feel like I forgot about when my daughter was really little. I want to journal more to remember everything!

• Introduce a bottle with breastmilk sooner. I plan to BF with our second, but my first never took a bottle! I plan to introduce one with breastmilk sooner so someone else can feed the baby when needed.
