I made these healthy granola bars for my toddler and she loved them! They’re so easy to make and take just a few ingredients and spices.
What you need for the bars:
• 1 ripe banana
• 3/4 cup organic rolled oats
• ¼ cup flour of choice
• ½ tsp ground cinnamon
• ¼ tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp vanilla extract
• 1 tbsp avocado oil
• 1 tbsp honey (only if your child is over 1 year old)
• 1 cup raspberries
Optional topping:
• 1/4 cup organic rolled oats
• 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1 tsp oil or honey
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees. Mix the wet ingredients together; mashed banana, vanilla, oil, and honey. In a separate bowl, mix the dry ingredients together; oats, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Then combine the dry ingredients into the wet and mix well.
Spread the mixture to the bottom of a loaf pan and bake for 8-10 minutes. While that’s baking, slowly cook the berries down on the stovetop with a drop of oil. Cook them until they’re a jelly-like texture. Spread the berries on top of the cooked base and add the top oat mixture if desired. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes.
Let it completely cool before serving! #lemon8partner #healthytoddlersnack #toddlerbreakfast #toddlerbreakfastideas #homemadegranolabars #healthysnacks #blwrecipes
