Summer Activities to Do with a Toddler

If you’re someone who loves to do activities outside or out of the house with your toddler, then this list is for you!

We are a very social family and my daughter loves to be out and about. We have our fair share of days at home, however these activities are some of our favorites to do in the summer time!

- Water table: I think every toddler needs a water table! They’re so fun and it keeps them entertained for awhile. Plus it’s a great sensory activity.

- Park concerts or carnivals: look for local concerts or carnivals! A lot of times concerts in the park are free!

- Zoo or farm: head to the zoo or the farm to see the animals with your toddler and to teach them! If you can go during the week, this will help avoid the crowds.

- Beach or pool: if you live near the beach, this is obviously a must! You can also go to a local pool near you!

- Gardens: did you know that a lot of gardens are free and open to the public? We live in the Northeast and have some beautiful gardens around us! It’s fun to explore these with your little one and teach them about plants. We recently took my daughter’s cake smash pictures in one!
