1000 Books Before Kindergarten App

I learned this from another Lemon8 mama so I thought I’d share it with those of you who haven’t heard of this! It’s an app that tracks books your child reads and the goal is 1000 books before Kindergarten!

I’ve heard of 100 books before 1, however haven’t heard of the kindergarten one. To be honest, a year goes by so fast, I feel like I blinked and my daughter is almost 1! So I like how this goes a little bit longer so you can be more intentional about the 1000 book goal.

All you have to do is download the app, create an account, and add your child. Then you can start checking off the books that you’ve already read and can make a list of books that you want to read.

It tracks the amount of books you’ve read for you. You can also repeat books and it will add towards the 1000, however I like to track the new books we read since we read 3 books to our daughter every night.
