Buy This Not That for Your Baby

Buy this not that for your baby. This may seem minuscule, however if you’re a low toxic mom like me, you try to avoid plastic as much as possible. That comes down to your baby’s toys!

So in effort to ditch the plastic, opt for silicone or wood toys whenever possible. I’m using these stacking cups as an example.

The “buy this” is a silicone version. They are food grade safe silicone, they’re great for teaching baby how to stack, and they have numbers on them that are easily readable. Plus they have holes so they can be used in water.

The “not that” version is all plastic. Sure, they’re aesthetically pleasing but it’s another plastic toy item that can be avoided (we received these as a gift). The numbers are also hard to read on them. My baby loves to put everything in her mouth as because they’re plastic, it’s definitely harder on her mouth too.
