I love this meal because it’s iron rich and also has a complimentary vitamin C food, which aids in iron absorption.

I made her lamb meatballs with diced mint and garlic, roasted orange pepper, and sliced cucumber. She was about 8 months old when I made this so serving her bigger pieces of food at that time was age appropriate.

I thought she would love this meal but she was definitely newer to meat at the time so she didn’t dig in so much like I thought she would. She also didn’t really touch the pepper but didn’t some cucumber.

The lamb is iron rich and the peppers have vitamin C, which makes this a great meal combination. I will most definitely be trying this meal again soon for my daughter since she absolutely loves chicken and ground beef these days!
