I’m always trying to switch up my daughter’s breakfast so I tried out this apple pancake recipe and it did not disappoint! My daughter has been doing baby led weaning since 6 months old and she’s been doing great with it!
These pancakes are perfect for baby led weaning as well as toddlers and older kids. They only require a few ingredients and they’re perfect for freezing to use in the future.
Here is what you need:
• 1 1/2 cup flour of choice (I used whole wheat)
• 1/2 cup oats
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 2 cup applesauce
• 1/4 cup milk of choice
• 4 tbsp coconut oil
How to make:
• Mix all the dry ingredients together: flour, oats, baking powder, cinnamon
• Then add in your wet ingredients: applesauce, milk, and coconut oil and mix well
• Heat a hot griddle with coconut oil and bake until golden brown
• Cut appropriately and serve. You can also freeze them for 2 months in the freezer.
