Valentine’s Day Sensory Activity

I made this Valentine’s Day sensory activity for my 6 month old! I wanted to do something fun for Valentine’s Day but also wanted her to be able to participate.

This is a super simple activity that anyone could do.

What you need:

• felt hearts (got these from Michael’s for $2.99)

• ziplock bag

What to do:

• place desired amount of hearts in ziplock bag. I did about 30 hearts.

• fill bag with water about 1/8 of the way. Seal bag shut and remove any air from bag.

• tape down bag on highchair tray or hold it down.

• let baby have fun!

My baby kept trying to grab the bag at first so I had to show her what to do. Eventually she was patting the bag and moving the hearts around. I ended up holding the bag down so she couldn’t lift it up even though she tried to a few times.
