My Favorite “Affordable” Date Spots

Dating can be hard, but it doesn’t have to be! For the month of March, I’m going to be doing a series of posts where I show you some of my dating favorites! So, here are 3 of my favorite date spots that, hopefully, you can draw inspiration from for your next date!

1) Park

I know, I know very original LOL. But, the park can be a fun date for a multitude of reasons and I put it on this list for that very reason. For example, you can have a picnic at the park or even heal your inner child and play on the playground! In addition, my boyfriend and I, personally, love the park because I can walk my dog there! Pro-tip, time the date around sunset so you can have an even greater time and a wonderful view!

2) Lake

I was going to put beach on this list but I feel like that’s very cliche. Although a great date idea, I think that any body of water, in general, can be a great date idea. There are some lakes in my area that my boyfriend and I like to hang out at. Most of the time these are located within parks so it’s a great place to just people or nature watch and just a relaxing place to be at overall.

3) Amusement Park

Amusement parks are fun for a multitude of reasons. For me, I love Disneyland and going on all the rides, trying all the food, and seeing all the attractions. However, an amusement park date doesn’t have to break the bank because I know that places like Disney can be expensive. My boyfriend also doesn’t like Disneyland as much as I do and I know that a full day there can be more tiring for him than me, so there are always a bunch of alternatives to try. I know that in my area there are a ton of more lowkey amusement parks that are smaller in scale. These are much more digestible price-wise and time-wise, so try them out!
