How to Tell if They Like You

This is the age old question, really. I remember being a young teenager and searching up articles and videos to see if I could figure out if my crush likes me. Who would’ve known that this feeling carries into adulthood, as well. Although I am no expert by any means, I feel like my experience thus far has given me some insight in telling whether or not a guy likes me. So, here are some of the ways I can tell, that can possibly help you out too!

1) They’re not mean to you

mI know this seems obvious but I used to be the girl who thought that a guy being mean to me meant he was 1) flirting with me and 2) was into me. This is not true! If a guy is mean to you, it is not playful flirting. Please please please, take it for what it is — a sign that he doesn’t like you.

2) They put in the effort

mIf they could care less about talking to you, hanging out with you, texting you, whatever — they do not like you. It might seem obvious now but (at least for me) hindsight is 20/20. If they seem like they’re drifting away from you that, too, is a sign that they do not like you (and/or are losing interest).

3) They care

If they actually make the effort AND actually want to know more about you, care about your interests, care about you as a person, that’s a pretty good sign that he likes you!
