Why I combed out my locs!

Hello everyone! I wanted to give a quick storytime on why I combed out my locs. I had locs since I was 7 and combed them out over last winter break. I was diagnosed with lupus last summer and due to the stress of being diagnosed as well as the diagnosing process my locs began to thin. Once reviving my diagnosis I went right back to college which did not help with my stress whatsoever. After a few weeks of consideration I decided it would be best to either cut or comb out my locs and I chose the latter. I have never had to care for my natural hair and learning has definitely been a journey. I have been practicing natural styles as well as braided styles. I want to keep learning more about how to care for my hair and overall am happy with the decision I made. Hope you enjoyed my storytime on why I combed out my locs!
