Anime: Nana (my opinion on hachis choice)

To start off, if you have not yet watched Nana please watch. And if need be, watch it multiple times.

I do want to say that the anime is not just based solely off of Hachis decision. I believe the anime is really more about how loving someone is never easy. The love hachi and Nana shared was true love, just in a friendship form. They truly were soulmates. It helped me visually understand that being soulmates, does not always mean romantically. They did not meet by chance but by fate, it sounds cheesy but I really believe that😭. We all know hachi stated multiple times how her dream was to grow up, be a wife and have kids. And she even said she had always wanted to be famous. The only thing is, life will ALWAYS have different plans for you, it’s just all about choices. She could have chose to stay with nobu who she said was her “knight in shining armor”. But he was not who she had dreams of marrying. As well as his lack of maturity. Now, I know we all hate Takumi. And trust me, I do to. BUT unfortunately he was that one person who was there for her in her time of need. YES I KNOW, he did not go about it in the correct way AT ALL. But she was young and felt she had no one. That’s the disease of loneliness. Feeling lonely takes over your mind and thoughts and will yearn for anything or anyone who can fill that void. And unfortunately Takumi was the wrong person at the right time. Now it’s not an ideal life to live but she chose stability over love. I don’t want to make this a super long take because I can go on and on. But put yourself in her shoes. I genuinely want to know what you would have done ? #nanaanime #nanaosaki #aiyazawa #hachinana
