My official 2023 Self Reflection ✨💗

Hey y’all!! Personally 2023 has been a roller coaster, and I’m sure it has been for others too. Looking back through my 2023 memories from this year, I have learned that every single inconvenience, misshape, or bump in the road is only temporary. The pain and hurt I went through was only temporary and it taught me so much adult character development throughout 2023. With that being said this is my 2023 reflection!! 💗

💭 Reflection 1: My first reflection is TAKE THE RISK no matter how silly or serious. I have never been to a haunted house ever and I hate being scared. My best friend dragged me out to fear farm and I ended up having the time of my life. You will never know til you try.

💭 Reflection 2: Was a year of pain, yet growth.

I feel that recognizing your emotions and past pain is so important, but it is also so important to recognize and appreciate growth and what got you there. At some point you will learn to appreciate the pain that got you to your point.

💭 Reflection 3: I fell more and more in love w my bf everyday. I have been in a relationship since October 2022 so obviously this 2023 year was the growth of my relationship. We both have learned sm more about each other and what we both want and deserve in a relationship. We both have learn boundaries and the importance of communication which is so amazing and I am so thankful to have an amazing man that is so understanding and cooperative.

💭 Reflection 4: in 2023 I have gotten so much better at romanticizing my own life instead of being envious of others. You are the main character of your own story. You choose the path and the storyline. So make it something you love not what someone else has.

💭 Reflection 5: I started college :(. It started out so so well and I am defending not a school girl. I ended up getting really sick and missing so much class and school work and basically being dropped due to my attendance. I am starting up again next semester but school defiantly sucks 👎

💭 Reflection 6: Being yourself in a relationship or friendship is so important. I would always find myself filtering what I said, did or how I acted in front of other in fear of judgment. I soon found out that if you have the right friends or friend group judgment does not exists. By figuring this out I learned to be more of myself and speak up and I have felt so much more whole since I have been my true self around the people I love. Don’t filter yourself in fear of being liked.

💭 Reflection 7: I became so much closer w my younger brother. It’s true what they say your sibling is your built in bestie. My brother and I have fought on and off for years and I mean years, it hasn’t been since I have graduated that him and I finally get along.

💭 Reflection 8: Learning to love myself. This is definitely still a chapter I am working on but also a chapter I have definitely been getting better at in 2023. Confidence is everything and confidence is something I will continue to grow at in 2024.

💭 Reflection 9: I definitely fs thought that after high school I wasn’t gonna make any friends. Eventually after graduation j began to look for more hours and a better paying job. I definitely did not expect to make friends out of my work environment, yet as soon as I was hired I made some of the best of friends!
