Must-Try Hand-pulled Noodles in London

During my trip to London, I had a difficult time finding authentic Chinese food. I tried a few of the “best” places in Chinatown that were not good at all! However, Lanzhou Lamian Noodle Bar exceeded my expectations and was half the price of the other restaurants. It’s also open late, so it’s perfect for a meal after a West End show.

The menu is large, but this is what I recommend you order:

🍜Sliced Beef Noodle Soup → The soup came with a generous serving of thin hand-pulled noodles. The noodles were chewy and absorbed the broth flavor well. The broth was hearty, had a slightly salty flavor, and the fresh cilantro was fragrant.

🍜Stewed Beef Noodle Soup → The soup base was the same as the sliced beef noodle soup, but I found the stewed beef to be slightly better than the sliced. The tender beef chunks had the fat on for a silky texture and rich flavor.

Overall, I recommend Lanzhou Lamian Noodle Bar for a quick and cheap meal.
