THINGS TO THRIFT THIS FALL

Everyone's excited for Fall Fashion— so much so that if I could give it a name, I'd call it the fashion capitol of the year! But sometimes, trying to keep up with all the trends can hurt our wallets and cost a lot of $$. That's why, when Fall rolls around, I always create a mood board and head to the thrift store!

Here are some staple pieces I've thrifted in the past:

SWEATERS

Before anywhere else, I always head to the sweater section of the thrift store — both men's and women's! Sweaters, especially when they're oversized, paired with a good pair of jeans or yoga is the perfect go-to outfit for all Fall occasions and always looks elevated. Instead of paying big $$$, head to the thrift store and get twice the amount of sweaters (that you know you'll wear of course) so you never run out of outfit ideas this Fall.

LEATHER JACKETS

When I found this oversized leather jacket at the local goodwill last Fall I literally screamed — this leather jacket was the leather jacket of my dreams and it only costed me $20!!! (I mean, a little steep for the goodwill, but such a good price anywhere else)

When I tell you I wore this jacket until I literally couldn't anymore because of the season I mean it. To find the perfect leather jackets, I'd suggest heading specifically to the Men's section!

MINI SKIRTS

Whenever I go to the thrift store, I always find a ton of body con dresses and skirts that can be paired with anything! This white one in particular has been such a huge staple in my wardrobe for almost every season because of how well it pairs with so many things!

This Fall, I'm really looking forward to oversized sweater, mini skirt, and boots looks! Don't overlook the skirts sections because you never know what you will end up finding.

DRESS PANTS AND TROUSERS

Everytime I wear these pants, whether to work, out, or on my Instagram I get tons of compliments on them, and the best part is I got them at the thrift for such a good price! The pants/trousers section has so many good finds for work clothes and typically have fits and cuts that may or may not be able to be found in regular stores depending on current trending styles.

In the Fall especially, it's so easy to throw these on with a sweater and be comfortable + look put together!

Let's spend our money at the thrift store this fall, not only to be sustainable, but to save our $$$ for all the amazing Fall festivities we're finally able to *fully* do again this Fall 🍂✨🫶🏾
