Journey as a nail artist and FAVS OF 2023❤️

Hello hello it’s big baby nails.sg!! Maybe you’ve seen me on some posts… maybe not. I am a home-based, self-taught nail artist.

Nails have always been a big part of my life, I loved them since primary school and would paint my nails every Friday- Sunday😀.

I began doing my own nails for about a year before doing friends’ and mutuals. Took the leap of faith in March and dived right into the unknown and started my little business.

Honestly, doing nails have been so fulfilling and really created a huge impact on my year. If anything, it has done more good than anything else.

It was a taxing start, taking longer hours to complete a set, practising, experiencing new designs, falling below personal standards & expectations and messing up. I fumbled a lot (and I still do😭) It was pretty exhausting.

Slowly I built confidence and became more efficient. My interpersonal skills also levelled up because I am socially awkward and an introvert, but hearing stories and interacting with beautiful people make it even more fruitful! To be frank, my ability to multitask is still limited.

I wouldn’t be where I am without YOU. I’m immensely grateful for the support and patience all my clients have given me. Especially during the earlier months.

Do rest assured, I always do my best and it only gets better from here, I won’t let anyone walk out with mediocre nails. I still have a LONG way to go in growing and learning, but the progress I’ve made so far, is all because of the kind clients who gave me a chance. Big thank you my babies!!!
