all of these for just $5.30? 🍗

after my weekly swimming class, i walked to circuit road hawker centre to find something to eat. little did i know i’d stumble upon a hidden gem at this hawker centre! maybe it’s because i usually come when they’re closed. what struck me the most is how affordable their menu is! chicken mid wings set (with rice and soup) for $3.80 and an omelette for $1.50? count me in!

the waiting time was around 20 minutes, which is understandable during peak hours around 7:30pm. i noticed most people ordered their steamed sea bass set, priced reasonably from $5.80 depending on the portion. too bad i wasn't craving fish, so i opted for their chicken wings.

when i got the food, i was amazed by the generous portion for just $5.30!! it was a complete meal, and the chicken wings were quite tasty! they were soft, fall-off-the-bone type, and not as spicy as i expected! 😋

overall, i would come back if i happen to visit this hawker centre again, and i’ll definitely try their popular fish set!
