yup, i cycled 45km—you read that right! 🚲🏁

lately, i've been feeling stressed from my part-time job and needed a way to relax. i've been cycling with anywheel for 1.5 years now, usually just short distances like between punggol and sengkang. but this time, i decided to go big and cycle all the way to changi airport.

i started from ulu pandan park connector, then hit the Rail Corridor. i was initially quite exhausted, so i took a 10-minute break at bukit merah before continuing to the end of the rail corridor at outram. from there, i passed by cbd, marina south, marina barrage, and tanjong rhu.

when i finally arrived at East Coast Park, the crowd was insane! it was my first time cycling there on a weekend, and all the restaurants were packed. but it was fun to see people from all walks of life enjoying the sea, sun, and beach, not to mention the food.

i took a detour at bayshore to explore the area a bit. even though i was sweating like crazy, i still had the motivation to keep going! i passed by bedok camp, continued through east coast park, and reached the famous cyclist road at tanah merah coast. but to avoid pushing myself too hard, i took the park connector to terminal 4 before ending at Terminal 2

damn, i did it—45km across singapore! this is the longest distance i've cycled so far. and yes, i showered at hub & spoke after the ride so no after-workout smell—it cost me $5. maybe i should do a review of that place?

since i'm on an anywheel subscription, the trip to changi airport was free, instead of the usual $2.25. boy math, i guess?

so yup, that’s my 45km cycling experience. would i do it again? maybe, if i find the motivation. but for now, i’m sticking to less than 10km trips to save on transport fares.
