Warm up before running is necessary to prevent injuries especially when you’re planning for a long run. Here are 4 Simple Pre-Run exercises 🏃🏻♀️ to get your heart pumping and loosen up the major muscles 💪🏻

1. Forward Lunges ( 30 secs each side )
- lunges are powerful movement to build lower body strength and stability. As runners tend to have tight hips which can lead to injuries too !
2. High Knee Skip
- This exercise can help to increase knee mobility when you’re on a run. Take your time, Go with 2 sets ( 30secs ) each, you‘ll start to feel the heartbeat pumping up 💪🏻 Keep going
3. Butt Kick
- 30 secs Butt Kick helps you cool down abit after intensity trainings. Remember to stand tall on the group with legs apart and start kicking backwards , feel the hamstring muscles 👊🏻
4. Toe Tap on the Ground
- Aim to perform 15-30 secs Toe Tap Running without stopping . This is also a great exercise for runners to strengthen the lower limbs
