Red Gate Bakery

This is the cutest little bakery - obsessed with the red exterior and really cute, minimal interior. Every single item at this bakery is such good quality, unique, and tasty.

We loved the:

🍋 Salted lime bar - a little on the salty side, but overall so tasty, especially if you’re like me and obsessed with key lime pie.

🍪 Chocolate toffee cookie - so delicious. Perfect texture too!

🍌 Midnight banana bread - the main reason I came here! The chocolatey banana bread was the perfect level of sweetness, and the texture was perfectly moist. I can’t wait to go back and get this again!

The only con is there’s only the one outside table with two chairs so you will likely have to pick up and go eat somewhere else. Luckily it’s in a great location so you can go here before or after eating at nearby Katz's Delicatessen or Essex Market !
