Wawasan Hill Trail 🌳 @ Puchong

First time here, reached around 8am during PH and it was raining however there is still some crowd around the entrance waiting to go in the hill trail as well. Parking are available around the shoplots or roadside area nearby the entrance. I heard that are several point and hidden waterfall stops you can visit, after the entrance nearby the public washing area, (right hand side is Trail A sign) and (left hand side is the shrine), it seems that the permitted Trail A and B lead to same peak. We did bump into some hikers and only got to know from them that some destination is actually FORBIDDEN lol....it was kept private and restricted for the use/research for students under a certain institution...there are chances where rangers will roam around and hikers will potentially be caught and get fine for hiking at the restricted areas such as the blue lagoon...so "HIKE AT YOUR OWN RISK" or just follow the permitted trail to avoid any complication  😅

Overall it is a wonderful experience, took around 2 hours to complete it, distance around 4km. It will be more challenging when it rains as the trail condition is quite harsh with slippery rock and muddy spots hence it is strongly recommended to get a strong grips hiking shoes for safety purposes. Luckily there are wooden blocks being placed along the muddy areas to ease your hiking journey ;) minimal trash around, let's keep it that way! Recommended for sure but to hike only on permitted trail rather than accidentally/intentionally trespassing on restricted areas!! 🌟Rate:5/5 #hiking #nature
