Postpartum items the hospital gave me✨

So you’re prepping for you and baby?

Wondering what the hospital will give you?

For the most part, the hospital has everything needed for your newborn besides clothes (I’ll go over that in another post) but what do they have for you?

I was given a nice postpartum bag from my hospital.❤️

Here is what I was given:

♥︎Dermoplast:

The hospital will have this if you don’t buy it beforehand or if you are not sure if you will need it. Dermoplast is great for tears and just overall comfort after birth. I used it often. I had to request this and they put it in my postpartum bag. I didn’t buy it before because I wasn’t sure if I needed it but I did have a tear so I had to use it!

♥︎ Jumbo postpartum pads:

If you don’t bring your pads the hospital will have them. They may not be the most comfortable but they get the job done! I used them right after birth, and then once I got settled I used my own.

♥︎Tucks:

I received tucks and they were the BEST! Tucks+Demoplast is the most soothing combo after birth, TRUST ME!

♥︎Heat pads:

Boy oh boy, I needed these more than I knew. I was still having contractions after birth and these were the only things that helped me until my pain medicine kicked in. I will talk about those contractions in another post 🫣

♥︎Postpartum briefs:

BUY YOUR OWN!! The briefs the hospital provides are not the best and not the best looking (not that it matters, but it matters😂)
