Is the SNOO bassinet worth it?

I’m sure as a mom, you’ve seen the famous SNOO bassinet created by Dr. Harvey Karp. The SNOO is supposed to help parents and babies get a good night's rest. But does it REALLY work???

As a first-time mom, I wanted THE BEST baby products on the market. I wanted to give my baby the luxury things we didn’t get when we were small as technology wasn’t as advanced. But I’ve learned that comes with a downside. There are amazing perks to owning an SNOO. The embedded white nose and rocking are amazing! The design is top-of-the-line! Very sturdy, it is definitely not cheaply made. My favorite perk is the swaddle being able to click in the SNOO. This helped us a lot! Not having to worry if our baby somehow rolled on her belly was such a relief.

The customer support was 10/10. We were going through a really rough patch with sleep and we reached out for help because they do have sleep consultants to help if needed. We talked with them and came up with a plan that we could implement. What they suggested literally helped us within a few days.

But with all of this, is it still worth the hefty price tag? The thing about the SNOO is all babies may not like it. It is a 50/50 chance your baby may or may not like it.

Even though I loved the rocking aspect, my daughter didn’t really care for it. We kept the rocking off most of the time because she slept better with it off. But she loved the white nose.

So was $900+ worth it? I’m not sure it was. Once babies begin to roll, it is suggested to stop swaddling and you can’t use the rocking feature without the swaddle so you end up with a regular bassinet… but knowing that we are planning for more kids. we know that we do have it in case one absolutely love it.

I’ve heard many success stories but with the economy, I suggest saving those coins because your baby may not like it & by the time you realize the return window will probably be gone!
