TATTOOS I GOT FOR MY SON

my whole life i knew i wanted to be covered in tattoos. i feel it's a beautiful way to celebrate your body, i mean we're all going to die in these bodies might as well make them beautiful! i got pregnant at 17, meaning i was pregnant when i turned 18. so i couldn't get my first tattoo on my 18th birthday like i'd always hoped, but because i didn't breastfeed i was able to get them pretty soon after i gave birth.

i got all these 3 tattoos in one sitting, and they're all some of my favorite tattoos still.

the artist did such a fantastic job on the footprints, he used the exact footprints my son got at the hospital as the stencil. what's so great about that is i can compare my sons feet to the footprints on my arm whenever i want. and it's crazy to see how much he's grown in only a year and a half. i also just adore the placement of them, i get a constant reminder of just how precious the life i created is when i look down at my wrists.
