How I Declutter My Vanity Drawers🤍🌸

I declutter my drawers and closet every season so it’s updated and neat.

It helps me to keep in mind what I have and what I need because you will be surprised how many similar things you are buying until you clean your space. It also create a calm and comfortable place for me to live and relax and I’m not always overwhelmed!!

Here are some tips I use to declutter my vanity drawers:

1. CLEAR IT ALL OUT🗑️

The first thing I do when I declutter is to clear all the drawers. It’s super helpful to RESET YOUR MIND. It can help you to think differently and how to tidy your stuff in another way.

2. THROW IT AWAY🚮

Throw away anything that is outdated, repeated, or you didn’t remember you had it. (You don’t need it if you don’t remember it😂）

I had bunch of acrylic make up boxes on the table before and I threw them away because I barely need them.

Remember to recycle or donate them or even sell them!

3. HIDE THEM🫣

A good way to make your space look tidy and clean is to put everything inside the drawers or cabinet. I feel like however I organize my stuff, it feels messy when they r outside. Plus, I have two cats so it’s more ideal for me to put stuff inside. I only leave some perfume out because they r cute bottles🥰

4. ORGANIZE BOXES📦

I always keep some drawer organizers at home so I can use them whenever I need them.

It helps create spaces and divide sections. Especially when you are dealing with small items. It’s so easy to get messy without the boxes.

My jewelry is organized in these jewelry divided plates. (Picture 7-8) It shows me clearly what I have and they will not tangle together. I don’t like boxes that are too complicated because I’m lazy😂

5. IMAGINE YOURSELF USING IT💭

When you are organizing your drawers, always keep in mind how you gonna use it! I think some people will forget this and when they finish organizing it, it’s NOT PRACTICAL. It happened to me several time too!!

✨Always ask yourself✨

Is it convenient? Does it make sense? How do I use these items? Will I use them if I put them this way? Is it EASY to put them back?

For example:

I put all my make-up in the top right drawer. It’s the closest to my chair and I don’t need to bend over to reach my make up. I only need to open the drawer and use all my make up right away.
