Good Nasi Lemak makes me happy 😍

Had some really good beef rendang nasi lemak when I went to JB recently and I’m obsessed!!!! Haven’t stop thinking about the meal at Madam Kwan’s 🤤

1) Beef Rendang Nasi Lemak RM27.90 (~SGD8) ⭐️⭐️⭐️

The beef was super tender and melt in your mouth kind! It was not spicy at all, a mixture of sweet and savoury. Really love the rice also - it was fragrant and soft!!

2) Chicken Satay RM23.90 (~SGD7) ⭐️⭐️

Honestly, the star is the peanut sauce! Ended up finishing the sauce by mixing it with my rice. The chicken is alright, nothing special but nothing bad as well!

3) Char Kway Tiao RM27.90 (~SGD8) ⭐️⭐️

TBH I was like “who even comes to this kind of place and order Char Kway Tiao????” to the person that ordered this. But turns out, it’s quite nice and tasty eh! It’s not too salty and the noodle were chewy. According to my Malaysian friend, it’s not char enough and lack the wok hey taste. Still good for me!
