HOW TO KNOW IT'S THE PERFECT RUG SIZE?

This time around I will share few tips on buying the right size rug especially for your living room.

1) Typical living room rug sizes are 8’x10′ and 9’x12′, and all furnitures can fit it on top of the rug.

2) Make sure your rug is at least 6″ wider (8″ is ideal) than your sofa on both sides.

3) You have to spare some space between the rug and wall, which around 10" to 18" is acceptable.

4) If the rug is small to fit in all legs of your furnitures, then ensure all front legs of sofa and chairs are able to rest on top of the rug. If not, suggested for you to buy a larger layer underneath, jute rug is a good example.
