heart braids hair tutorial 🩷

a lot of you guys wanted a hair tutorial so i tried by best to show it in pictures ! i will list the steps below but if you need a more in depth video version, i have one posted on my tiktok, link in bio :)

step one:

split hair down the middle and braid each side, ending the braid around chest level (or higher if your hair is shorter) pull the braids out wide after securing with a rubber band to make them thicker.

step two:

divide the leftover hair at the end of each braid into two sections, braiding and securing those pieces.

step three:

pinch the very top section of the two smaller bottom braids into themselves (as shown) and secure with rubber band. do this on each side.

step four:

bring the bottom section of the two smaller braids together and tie with rubber band, remove the two rubber bands originally holding the two braids together. do this on each side

ALL DONE ! now you have pretty heart braids :) PSA- i did not invent this hairstyle i just recreated a similar picture on pinterest to the best of my ability because i thought it was cute 🩷🩷
