No one wants to think about this, but you NEED to be prepared in the case that you are caught in a company layoff. Protecting yourself legally and financially is so important, especially when your 9-5 is your only source of income.

Ask your company when your benefits run out, and make sure to take advantage of anything that will run out, like your health or lifestyle saving spending accounts.
