EVERYTHING I ATE IN SEOUL, KOREA🇰🇷

enjoy this very long thread of (almost) all the food I ate in Seoul for 6D6N that no one asked for ᵕ̈♡˳೫˚∗

didn't eat any terrible food on this trip so I'll categorise them into will and will not visit again!

❤️‍🔥 meaning WILL visit again

1) MYEONGDONG KYOJA 명동교자

- MICHELIN GUIDE SEOUL 2024

- only 4 items on the menu (as the saying goes, fewer menu = better food)

- I would say the food tasted good but nothing special, queue moved quite fast so worth the try!

2) CAFE POKPO 폭포 ❤️‍🔥

- lots of seats available to relax & enjoy the waterfall scenery

- drinks and sandwich were rly nice too, one of my top places to visit

- can plan to visit hongdae which is 30 mins away

3) GRILLED TRIPE PANEUN 곱창파는 고깃집

- did a separate post on this!

- the soybean paste stew is really good (only $3)

4) IKSEON CHWIHYANG 익선취향

- I'm a pasta lover and this tasted amazingggg (we ordered diff types of pasta so it wldn't be too jelak)

- priced around $18 which is expected of hyped cafe restaurants

- insta worthy and good exp but that's kinda it

5) JAYEONDO SALT BREAD 자연도소금빵 ❤️‍🔥

- 1 min walk away from ikseon chwihyang (I stumbled upon the long queue by coincidence LOL)

- they sell at staggered timings so be sure to check and buy them before joining the queue to collect

- me & my mum LOVEEEEE the salted breads, we ate it a few hrs after buying and it still tasted so good

6) PIZZA & PASTA (yes, thats the name) 딴지펍

- ate at this random italian restaurant on nami island bc the lunch box restaurant only opens on weekends T_T

- it was decent food and we were the only customers

7) GOHYANG KALGUKSU 고향칼국수

- at gwangjang market, featured on netflix's "street food" (stumbled upon by chance)

- ordered the cold noodles & dumplings but honestly think its quite average, nothing special lol

- random observation but owners were kinda biased towards tourists that were filming for their vlogs etc

8) TWISTED DOUGHNUT 찹쌀꽈배기 ❤️‍🔥

- decided to join the queue bc I'm #singaporean

- its so good eh idk what else to say and its $1/pc

9) KI BAKERY

- appeared on going seventeen so as a proud carat I had to visit.....

- went solely for the melon bread and I'm so glad it didn't disappoint (it was $3.50 tho)

- apparently its also famous among locals so if you happen to pass by can give it a try!

10) MUSHROOM HOUSE 버섯집 ❤️‍🔥

- my mum randomly picked a restaurant in seongsu area and omfg it became the best meal of our trip

- super hearty meal, staffs were also rly nice in clarifying the ingredients inside (take note: there's beef inside for those who don't eat)

- will do a separate post on this with the prices & menus!
