Small Balcony/Patio Finds

If you’re a dog mom/dad this one is for you too! I love my apartment and one of the reasons we chose this unit is because of the balcony that it has. Being in a city, the balcony is smaller than your average size but we still found a way to make it work!

First, we put in some DIY decking we purchased from IKEA. I absolutely loved how it turned out and it fit perfectly! We knew we wanted to get some kind of table for the space but nothing seemed to fit due to how narrow the balcony is. That is why we decided to get an over the balcony desk! This desk folds down when not in use and is super sturdy when up. It is the size of a small bar so it doesn’t take up too much room and is perfect for enjoying drinks and working from home!

A big reason I wanted a balcony is because I knew I wanted to get a Weasy! A Weasy is a smart potty for dogs to use in spaces like this where they may not be able to get to a yard or field as easily. There is a bag underneath that collects everything and can be easily emptied into the toilet. This had saved me so much time when having to let out my 9 month old puppy!
