Things to do on a weeknight: The Vessel

I am always looking for new things to do on a weeknight that won’t take too much time since I am tired after work most nights. I love going on walks in different directions with a friend to explore a new part of the city✨

Today, I went with a friend to the Hudson yards mall to check out what was new in their stores. While shopping around, we immediately noticed the beautiful sunset and dropped what we were doing to run outside. When we got outside, we saw discovered the “Backyard”, which is public lawn chairs, and a huge monitor screening live sports events. Tonight, they were streaming the US Open tennis matches. It is so wholesome to see the community that they created outside of The Vessel and it’s such a nice activity to do when you aren’t looking to do much besides chill.

We also saw food trucks on the opposite side of The Vessel with different food, vendors, such as tacos and ice cream! Overall it was such a great evening, and the best part is, we walked there and back! It was an enjoyable way to get some steps in☺️ #lemon8partner #lemon8diary
