Hands down the best CHEE CHEONG FUN ever!! 🤩

Being a black sesame lover, I am always hunting the best black sesame food in town and someone recommended me to try the black sesame paste from Yat Ka Yan, an authentic Chinese Dessert spot located inside Fortune Centre, and OMG I WISHED I KNEW ABOUT THIS PLACE EARLIER!!

Their black sesame paste was so rich and intense. It’s like a dream come true for all black sesame lovers! I topped up for two pieces of tang yuan and the tang yuan was okay only, not worth the additional cost haha 😅

Though I went there specially for their black sesame paste, I was more blown away by their CHEE CHEONG FUN!! I am not even kidding, it’s like the best ccf I have ever had in my life and not even those I had in HK can be compared to it. Their ccf was so soft and chewy and it really melted in my mouth. The chai poh was cherry on top! What a brilliant idea to pair ccf and chai poh together! 😍 It’s definitely a must-try if you are at Yat Ka Yan!!

Do expect long queues when you are there, I went around 2:30pm on a Sunday and there were 5 groups in front of me and a long line behind me. But they were quite fast and they have quite a lot of seats, so I didn’t wait for long.

IMO, it’s worth the queue and the prices are reasonable, so if you love chinese desserts, you must visit Yat Ka Yan!! ☺️
