little things that bring me joy ✨

Hi angels!! Today I wanted to talk about the little things in my life that are currently bringing me joy. As we get into autumn there are so many more things in my life that I’m starting to romanticize more ✨

1. my bookshelf being organized. As someone that creates a lot of bookish content my bookshelf is always getting disheveled. I recently went through and organized / color coded the entire thing and now my life feels so put together. (It’s also so beautiful to look at, especially at night) 📚

2. Practicing new hobbies. A few months ago I started playing piano again. It’s so refreshing to be able to enjoy a hobby as an adult with out feeling like it needs to be perfect - I try to practice every night before bed :) 🎹

3. Girl clutter!! this is a phenomenon I describe as being a beautiful mess of girly things. Usually a mess like this would stress me out but seeing all the little trinkets I love cluttered together is just so cute. For me this is usually a mix of assccesores, books & makeup. 💋

4. Creating content! This goes with out saying but I have just been loving creating content lately. I always feel my work coming alive when autumn arrives 🥀

5. Baking in candlelight. Could I easily turn the light on? Yes. But it’s way more fun to bake in candlelight hehe. I recently made pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and started my annual Gilmore girls rewatch. 🍁
