AUTHENTIC PERANAKAN FOOD NEAR NOVENA 🏺

Back with another makan place review! I visited PeraMakan recently at Owen Road and I must say that stretch is sooo hipster!! You might know it as the place where Syip and Old Hen Coffee is.. but don’t miss out on this authentic peranakan restaurant too!

I really LOVED the kueh pie tee - it had a super crispy and fragrant shell(?) cup(?). What a great start to a kueh pie tee!! The fillings were delicious too~ we also got the fish maw soup, beef rendang and assam fish - all of which were tasty and yumz

The super pretty blue pea rice was free flow too so you’re welcome carb loaders~ we also really enjoyed the service here as they were so attentive.

It was a lovely place to hang but they were strict on dining time (sad) so we got chase out after 90 min. The cocktails sounded really cool and peranakan but were not strong and not very nice sobzzz

Overall still a good find though!!
