As a working adult, I sit A LOT. Thankfully, I exercise quite a lot too. Even so, in the last 1-2 years, I’ve started to notice that my tummy started bloating more easily after meals. It’s scary how I can look 4-5 months pregnant sometimes?!?! But ig I’m kinda glad I’m not the only one - my friends have told me that bloating is super common from your late 20s and they’ve been experiencing it too. RIP, the youthfulness of our organs 🥲

So I’ve tried out some anti-bloating hacks and found that these kinda work for me:

1. BROWN SUGAR WATER - helps to relieve indigestion so I don’t bloat and feel gassy. A cheap solution

2. PROBIOTICS - this is definitely more costly but it does improve gut health! I’ve noticed that probiotics improve my bowel movement, which helps to shrink my lower belly pooch 💩

3. ACUPRESSURE MASSAGE - I got into acupressure massages in the last 1-2 years (my fav facials are meridian bojin facials), and I’ve never looked back. I even took up a 4 week acupressure class to learn more about acupoints LOL. Here’re some useful spots to massage (gently) to relieve bloating.

4. STRETCHING - this is so good, and so underrated. We just need 5 minutes a day to stretch our our bodies and we can reap so much benefits (I don’t do that enough too 🥲). It also helps to lightly decompress and relief the spine so you back pain sufferers get some relief too
