CLUCKING GOOD AYAM PENYET AND INDOMIE IN ORCHARD 🐓

Introducing MRS HEN. I first came here when they were newly opened, and there was NO ONE in the shop except for one other patron. When I recently came back here again, they were almost full house during lunchtime!!! It seems like they were office people so phew this place still seems pretty gatekept. BUT NO LONGER, BECAUSE UNNI IS UNGATEKEEPING THIS FOR YOU.

If you’re a fan of fried chicken and indomie, this is definitely the place to go when in town. At $10 or less, you can get a super decent plate of ayam (or fish or eggplant) penyet. Topping up indomie costs $2 more but it was worth it because it’s two whole packs’ worth. SLURPS

They’ve a super wide selection of chillis from lemongrass chilli to onion chilli to the usual red or green chillis. For the non-spicy food eaters, there’s also salted egg sauce 😋

This is such an inclusive place suitable for meat lovers and vegetarians (eggplant or tofu penyet), for spicy and non-spicy food eaters. Though the wait time is EXTREMELY LONG, I’m quite sure I’ll be back someday!!

They’ve more outlets at Telok Ayer (for you CBD babies) and Bedok (Easties rejoice) - do let me know if those queues are shorter!
