I changed the entire tattoo after it was sketched🙏🏻

I’ve been following this korean tattoo artist (@/buoythefishlover on ig) for quite awhile and saw that he was coming to Singapore for guest work. I was SO excited that I sent him an email right there and then.

>> in case you don’t know, overseas tattoo artists charge a lot more when doing guest works bc naturally they have to pay for their flight and accoms (so might want to reconsider if you are tight on budget)

basically through our email exchange (shown on the pics) I asked the artist to tweak his draft twice, and realised that his character’s style was not suitable for my idea. So i changed the entire idea design and tweaked it two more times before finalising.

>> i was really afraid that i was going to come off as rude or inconsiderate as i already tweaked it a couple times, but i decided to just ask. better to ask and risk receiving rejection rather than get a tattoo you don’t really like.

i think it’s really cute, but honestly i’m not 10/10 for this tattoo after seeing it on my body, BUT we live on and learn from it.
