From one eldest daughter to another. You probably deal with

• intense feelings of responsibility,

• being a perfectionist/overachiever,

If nobody else says it: I’M SO PROUD OF YOU. I’m sorry if what you’ve done for others is overlooked because “it’s what you’re supposed to do” while you see everyone else getting coddled for things they were tough on you for. I’m sorry it’s affected you till now. They can call you crazy but it’s only because you have such a desire to see things turn out right and turn out good. I hope you see your attributes and not see them as hindrances to what you want in life. It might’ve set you back some, but now you know better. You’re so strong and resilient and caring. Now get back out there and love on yourself the same way you’ve loved on others. The same way you take charge in life’s obstacles, take charge in your own life, health, and well-being. Although you might be unappreciated, you’re the oil to this machine. Things run and happen because of you.
