Time to plan revision !
Here is my routine that I used from primary school !
I would say take advantage of the mornings but try not to be too early so you can still be productive and not spend most the time trying to stay awake
My best timing is 10am since I kinda get to sleep in a bit but it’s still get a bit of work done before lunch .
(Tip start with some upbeat music so it wakes you up)
Then lunch will be 12-1.30 (1h30min to help reduce the food coma so you can immediately focus after lunch and take a break from studying , cramping too much can result to burn out and that’s not good as it can take a while to recover from
🗓️Schedule / routine
10am : wake up
10-10.30 : laze around (can sleep in a little , use your phone , read a book , exercise , get a light refreshment)
10.30-12 : study session 1
Lunch : 12-1.30
1.30-3 : study session 2
3-3.30 : break
3.30-5 : study session 3
5-5.30 : break
5.30-6.30 : study session 4
6.30-7.45 : dinner
7.45-9 : study session 5
9.-9.30 : break
9.30-10 : recap on what was gone through on that day , read through notes
10-12 : relax
12 : sleep
Tip
- Use music for subjects that are more formula based so like math , POA , accounting mods as it will help you focus as when you do it all the time you can get tired . (Classical music if you are scare you will be distracted by the lyrics or beats , there are classical rendition of modern music like the bridgerton playlist !)
- Try to recap each topic (practice , notes ) then do exam papers (take note on error , special questions )
- Taking breaks in between every study session or every item you do will help you stay focus . Like once you finish a paper and finish marking take a break no matter how long you did it for just take a short break so you can absorb the information. (Don’t need to feel guilty about breaks , everyone needs breaks to function , cramping don’t always mean it works)
- Read through your mistakes and celebrate making mistakes they help you learn and remember it better . Once you identify it read through and learn from it
- Have snacks around , you brain need energy so have some light snacks around to motivate you , like chocolates plus it help cheer you up more
Lastly remember this may work for me but studying methods is not a one size fit all so you can try but not force it ! Goodluck for exams ! Study hard and play hard after !
