Life is hard

People always tell me “you look happy all the time” my response to that is “I am happy but something’s are just hard”. Everyday I wake up I always put a smile on my face even though I am sad because seeing everybody happy when they see a smile on my face brings me joy. It’s not about what other people think and that’s what I tell myself but sometimes you just need to stop and think and ask yourself. What about what I think or I feel? The thing that gets me the most is when people say everything will be ok and I keep telling myself it will be but a part of my says that life is hard and ofc it’s going to be but what I’m feeling is different.

People say they understand how I feel but nobody does and even if I tell them they still won’t understand because the only person that does is God. I’ve always told myself when I was down a dark path. Everything will be ok and then it got better but my depression will always be there and that’s what sucks about it. Because I will come home some days and cry because everything that has happened in my life all hits me at once. People tell me not to live in the past. Well it’s not all that easy and I tell people that to but I just can’t seem to take my own advice.
